The holiday season officially kicks off in NYC with the unveiling of the iconic Bloomingdale’s Lexington Avenue windows which take inspiration from Paramount Pictures’ movie, “Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away 3D,” in theaters December 21, 2012. Spectators will enjoy five scenes from the film depicted inside the windows featuring hand painted fantasy murals and sculpted animation that magically tumbles and moves acrobatically. Don’t forget to smile, as onlookers will also have the unique opportunity to have their own image appear on a character inside the window which will then be posted on the Bloomingdale’s Facebook page (facebook.com/bloomingdales).
The must-see windows will be unveiled on Tuesday, November 13, at 5:00pm. In celebration of the grand event, Cirque du Soleil performers will be performing live on Lexington Avenue, along with other special surprises.
