Director of Entertainment Industry Relations, Malaria No More
Joel Goldman is currently responsible for building and managing entertainment industry relationships for Malaria No More. He has 27 years of non-profit experience and has developed a strong niche in engaging celebrities to support charitable causes and helping them develop as advocates and spokespeople. Prior to joining MNM in 2010, Joel served in similar roles with Feeding America, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
Joel is a founding speaker of CAMPUSPEAK and has spoken on more than 1000 campuses to in the U.S. and Canada on health wellness issues concerning college and high school students. He has won several awards for his work in this field including the Ryan White Award, the Ethel Levitt Humanitarian Award, the National Interfraternity Conference’s Silver Medal, and the Jack Anson Award for service to our Nation’s youth.
Aside from working as a non-profit professional Joel has served on many Boards of Directors throughout the years on issues ranging from foster care to HIV/AIDS. Joel believes that it is important to help shape the future through mentoring and currently mentors three young adults. He served a two year term as International President of his college Fraternity, Sigma Alpha Mu.
